Trinity Graduate School and Seminary, Inc.., was established for the purpose of offering prospective lay ministers, teachers and missionaries the opportunity to study and prepare for full-time Christian Service. It was also established for the purpose of licensing and ordaining ministers and missionaries of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to provide guidance and leadership in all areas relative to the performance of such ministry. In the US, accreditation is a private function managed by non-governmental agencies. Having accreditation in itself does not guarantee acceptance by another school. Each school decides which credits and degrees they will accept. Anyone wanting to transfer credits or degrees should check with the specific schools in mind as to their policy.
The members of our faculty have earned graduate degrees from some of the most highly regarded universities and theological schools in America, including Vanderbilt (Nashville, TN), William & Mary (Williamsburg, VA), University of Tennessee(Knoxville, TN), Belmont University (Nashville, TN), Ohio State (Columbus, OH), Howard University(Washington, DC) and Union Theological Seminary(Dayton, OH).
This Statement of Faith for Trinity Graduate School and Seminary, Inc., was approved by the Board of Directors in;(2013, 2015, 2018, 2020);
"We believe that the Bible (both the Old and the New Testaments) is the inspired Word of God. We believe that Jesus is the Son of the Living God and that He died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ, are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become Children of God. We believe that only that which is accomplished by Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit will bear fruit for eternity."
Faculty members at TGSS are practitioners as well as educators. Each of the faculty members at TGSS have decades of practical experience in pastoral or staff roles in churches of all sizes. Adjunct faculty members are all involved in ministry within their own local churches.
Faculty members take a personal interest in students in a way that is unlike other colleges. Faculty members open their homes to students and their families. Faculty members pray with students online, on the telephone, at the altar, in chapel, in their offices, and at local churches.
Our Priority is to equip students to fulfill our Lord's final command (Matt. 28:19,20) by inculcating a love for the lost, dedication to discipleship and the ability to accurately handle God's infallible, inerrant Word, proclaiming it as the standard for all truth and the prime authority for faith and practice, both in the church, and in personal lives. We are committed men and women who will serve and honor our Lord Jesus Christ with Spirit-controlled and empowered lives that are holy and acceptable to Him.
